Our connection with Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey
Journey Hospice is part of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey (LSMNJ), a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization committed to serving people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds. Responding to the ever-changing needs of New Jersey residents, Lutheran Social Ministries of NJ provides a broad range of programs and services. At 20 locations across our state, LSMNJ annually makes a difference in the lives of more than 8,300 individuals.
Our partnership with individuals, corporations, and congregations through volunteer activities, gifts-in-kind, and financial contributions, helps Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey to continue our work of reaching out to those who hurt, who are in need, or who have limited choices. By partnering with our mission, you’re helping us provide enhanced programs to those we serve.

Giving and receiving help.
Journey Hospice patients are considered part of the statewide Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey family, which means that each patient and their family has the opportunity to help and be helped by LSMNJ. While earnings from Journey Hospice are reinvested back into the program and its operations, some funds may also be used to support LSMNJ’s social services. Through our connection with these programs, residents help those who are hungry or needing a place to call home.
