Healthcare professionals have needs for training in ethics that is specific to dilemmas that arise while providing care to patients who are very ill, mentally compromised, or in a terminal condition. In addition, participants will learn established HIPAA guidelines and also what to do in a situation where there are conflicting powers of attorney.

• Demonstrate clinical decision-making pertaining to reporting health-related driving risk
• Identify established HIPAA guidelines and real life examples of complex scenarios to differentiate between appropriate and inappropriate disclosures
• Recognize what to do in a situation where there are conflicting powers of attorney
